Diane Marie David Whitesboro Diane Marie David 46, of Whitesboro passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the Albany Medical Center with her loving husband Tom by her side. She was born on July 23, 1966 in Utica a daughter of William and Mary (Reid) Alexander. She was a 1984 graduate of Whitesboro High School; she continued her education at the State University of New York where she earned her LPN License for Nursing in 2003. On December 12, 1992 she was united in marriage to Tom David a blessed union of 20 years filled with much love and mutual admiration. Diane was employed for a short time with Hospice & Palliative Care, she also enjoyed many years of waitressing at several area restaurants. She was a member of the Whitestown American Legion Post 1113 and the New Hartford American Legion Post 1376. Diane enjoyed spending her free time camping at Brown Track Pond and Fishing and boating on Hinckley Lake. Diane is survived by her husband Tom of Whitesboro, her father William Alexander also of Whitesboro, her brothers and sisters, Richard Alexander of Forestport, Terrance Alexander of Whitesboro, Kevin Alexander of Marcy, Mary Alexander of Forestport, and Barbara Ashwell of Clark Mills. She also leaves 22 nieces and nephews and nine great nieces and nephews. She also leaves three Sister-in-laws and four brother-in-laws, her close friends Joanne Alexander and Sara Wengert and her two feline companions Mandi and Cheyenne. Diane was predeceased by her mother Mary Alexander and two brothers, Paul and William. The family wishes to sincerely thank Albany Medical Center for the wonderful care complemented by true compassion that was given to both Diane and her family. Also a special thank you to Dr. Eldridge and Dr. Ferrero, and a heartfelt thank you to Diane's brother Terrence who's gift of life helped to extend Diane's life many more years. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home Forty Main St. Whitesboro. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. For those who wish please consider the American Diabetes Association in her memory envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
