Frank passed away on Friday, October 5, 2012.

Frank was a resident of Rome, New York at the time of his passing.

He attended New York City public schools He is a graduate of Syracuse University.

He was later commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force in December 1953, During a distinguished flying career with the Air Force, Frank was stationed in
Korea, following the war; with the 405th Fighter-Bomber Wing at Langley, Va.;
with the 353rd Tactical Fighter Squadron in Myrtle Beach, S.C.; as a missile
crew commander in Sembach, Germany; and with the 37th Tactical Fighter wing in
Vietnam from 1968 to 1969 as a forward air controller. He rose to the rank of
Lieutenant Colonel and retired from the service in 1972. While in the Air Force,
Frank piloted many of the nation's earliest and most important jet aircraft,
including the F-84, F-86 Sabre and the F-100 Super Sabre.

Memorial services will be held Monday 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may call at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome on Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Services: Memorial services will be held Monday 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
