Herbert Wiediger, 83, of Camden, passed away October 5, 2012 at home. He was born November 5, 1928 in Utica, son of Carl and Anna Wiediger and attended Utica Schools. He served with the US Army in Germany. Herbert married Florence Turchetti on April 16, 1955; she passed away on March 5, 1992. Herbert worked as a construction worker for most of his life and enjoyed his work. He was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church, an active member and Past Commander of the American Legion Post # 26, Clark Mills. He enjoyed woodworking at his home and knitting. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Russell and Virginia Wiediger, Sauquoit, Robert and Diane Wiediger of Camden; daughter-in-law Deborah Wiediger, of Sherrill; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Monday at 10:30 AM at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Utica. Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park.
