Lula Bea Winn New Hartford Lula Bea Winn, of New Hartford passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Faxton St. Luke's Health Care in New Hartford with her loving husband Joe Winn and family by her side. She was born in Clarksdale Mississippi, a daughter of the late Tom and Lula Watson.She was a baptized Jehovah's Witness for many years and was a member of the central congregation. Lula was a woman of various talents, a chef, event planner, seamstress, gardener, carpenter and artist. She had a true passion for serving and entertaining others which was a part of her selfless and compassionate nature. She is survived by her husband Joe Winn of New Hartford, her daughters Bernadine Thomas and her husband Reginald of North Carolina, Zabrina Combs and her husband Frederick of New Hartford; her son James Peck Jr. and his wife Angelitta of Colorado; her sisters Evangelist Marlena Rowell of Ohio, and Bobbie Burnett of New Hartford who was also her best friend; five grand children one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter Laverne Peck, a brother Moses Jackson and a sister Tommie Mae Shelton. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the ICU, CCU and the 2 west staff at Faxton St. Luke's Health Care for their care and compassion. Also thanks to Dr. Thomas John and Charlene Gatek, Mary and Becky from the Faxton Dialysis center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home 13 Oxford Rd. New Hartford., with Bill Bryant of the Jehovah's Witness Central Congregation officiating. Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park.
