Margaret "Peggy" Louise Ogden, 82, life resident of The Valley in Syracuse, New York, died Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Crouse Hospital.

Peggy was a graduate of Onondaga Valley Academy and CCBI. She was a longtime member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. She enjoyed camping, boating and fishing on Oneida Lake with her family and friends. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed gardening, knitting, reading and doing crafts. Most of all, she loved being a grandma.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Debra (John) Fisher of Syracuse, New York; son, David (Phyllis) Ogden of LaFayette, New York; four grandchildren, Jessica (Andy) Boland, Jennifer (Mihajlo) Jerkovic, Kimberly (Ken Steurrys) Fisher and Susan (Will) Kendall; five great-grandchildren, Connor and Kaleigh Boland, Landon and Rose Kendall and Mihajlo Jerkovic. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Eugene "Gene" Robert Ogden on April 2, 2012; her parents, Peter and Margaret (Dice) LoBello and brother, Edward LoBello.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 18, 2013, 9:15 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc. and 10 a.m. in St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 2200 Valley Drive, Syracuse, NY 13207. Calling hours will be held Sunday, February 17, 2013, 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, NY 13205.
