Minnie D. Baldwin West Winfield Minnie D. Baldwin, 96, of West Winfield passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Charles T. Sitrin Health Care Center. She was born June 2, 1916 in Syracuse, NY: a daughter of the late Tony and Sarah Dolson. She married Arnold N. Balwin, Sr. on February 14, 1942. They were high school sweethearts whose love for one another never faded throughout their 66 years of marriage. Minnie Baldwin graduated from grade school in Syracuse and later went to college at Keuka. She was once employed with the Kemper Insurance Company, Utica Mutual Insurance Company, and lastly the Oneida National Bank (Bank of America) in West Winfield. Minnie was a faithful parishioner of the Federated Church of West Winfield. Her devotion was truthful right up until her passing. Within her retirement, she was an avid traveler with her husband. Their travels extended from the east to west coast. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Arnold N. and Roxane Baldwin, Jr., Houston, TX, and Timothy Baldwin, Clinton; four grandchildren, Hadley and husband, Gregg Griffenhaggen, Severance, CO, Kate Baldwin, Humble, TX, Kristin Baldwin, Humble, TX, and Dean Baldwin, Clinton; four great-grandchildren, Samantha Baldwin, Sabrina Baldwin, and twins Gavin and George Griffenhaggen; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her Husband Arnold N. Baldwin, a grandson, David Baldwin; and a daughter-in-law, Cindy. A special thanks is extended to the friends and neighbors on Fairview Drive that have dedicated many hours of compassionate care to Minnie. Their exceptional treatment to Minnie has not gone unrecognized or unappreciated. Public Calling Hours will be held from 2p.m until 4p.m on Tuesday April, 30 at the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home; 365 West Main Street, West Winfield, NY. Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of the calling hours at 4pm. Interment will be in Unadilla Forks Cemetery on Wednesday May, 1 at 9am.
