Ronald "Porky" Fennicks died Tuesday December 11th at Albany Stratton Medical Center, Albany. Born in Schenectady, NY, he was the son of the late William and Jeanette (Lewis) Fennicks. A graduate of Linton High School, Porky was a selector at Adirondack Beverage Company for over 18 years prior to his retirement. A Vietnam War veteran, he enjoyed both fishing and golf. Predeceased by his first wife Ernestine McGraw Fennicks in 1993 and his brothers George and Warren Fennicks, he is survived by his wife Stephanie Tesiero Fennicks who he married April 25, 2012, his children, Shannon Hilts (William), Kristel Fennicks (Evette), Bryan Fennicks and Ronald Fennicks (Laurie) all of Schenectady, a brother William Fennicks and sister Lois Fennicks both of Schenectady, 17 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon December 14, 2012 at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY with a visitation at the funeral home from 11 to 1pm prior to the services. Interment in Parkview Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Porky's memory to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Road Albany, NY 12211. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff, doctors and friends at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center and the Dialysis Center for their care and compassion.
